TAMILA, King's Cross - 50% off from 17th–19th January
What's the deal: Get 50% off during the Tamila King's Cross soft launch, running from 5pm Friday 17th January - Sunday 19th January.
Tamila are opening a second restaurant in King's Cross this week, following the success of their first Tamila location which launched in Clapham late last year.
This new South Indian-inspired restaurant is from the team behind popular Indian pubs The Tamil Prince and The Tamil Crown in Islington.
The menu will feature signature rotis, South-Indian-inspired curries, tandoor specials like tandoori chicken and tandoori paneer, plus snacks including onion bhajis, okra fries, chicken lollipops and fried baby sweetcorn.
On Sundays, they'll also be running "Thali Sundays", a Sunday feast featuring pumpkin payir masala, mixed vegetable avial, vegetable sambar, Chettinad mutton masala, and prawn peratal.
Alongside the food, the drinks menu will feature a house Tamila lager and Indian-spiced cocktails, such as the Tamil Negroni, Gunpowder Margarita and Charcoal Old Fashioned.
