The Pig's Ear is a new pub in Chelsea from The Gladwin Brothers.

It's the fifth addition to the Gladwin Brothers Local & Wild restaurant group, but their first pub venture.

Their menu brings all the flavours of the English countryside with an abundance of foraged and locally grown produce, including sustainable livestock from the Gladwin's family farm and wines from their family vineyard in West Sussex.

The ground floor has been refurbished as a traditional walk-in pub with a central bar and ample space for drinkers and those after a more casual quick bite accompaniment.

The main bar on the ground floor features an open larder serving Lindisfarne Oysters, Pâté en route, Courgette Carpaccio with Goat’s Cheese, Pine Nuts, and Chives and silver challis’ of Sussex Garden Crudités with Broad Bean Hummus, all decorated with foraged edible flowers and Home Baked Wild Yeast Baguette.

Larger dishes include Sussex Rose Veal Liver and Langoustine & Cornish Smoked Haddock Pie and desserts include Sussex Berries with Honeycomb and Clotted Cream plus an amazing, hugely indulgent Chocolate Mousse for the whole table to share.

Upstairs, the first-floor dining room offers a more refined setting - white linen, wood panelling and a terracotta ceiling and a menu that includes a selection of dishes from chef Oliver Gladwin’s ever-changing repertoire, including Chargrilled Hispi cabbage, Chiddingfold Beets with Suffolk Quinoa and beef from the family’s own farm.
