The Hoop & Grapes is a historic pub in Farringdon that reopened on 4th February following a huge 4-year £1.8 million transformation.

Set across five floors, the pub will offer three distinctive experiences. The ground floor will retain the charm of a classic London pub, opening onto a charming courtyard garden. Upstairs, there's a comfortable first-floor seating area and an intimate piano room at the top of the building for private dining.

The team has taken great care to ensure every detail has been carefully designed to showcase the pub’s rich heritage while reimagining it for modern London life.

Along with all the improvements comes a brand-new menu that celebrates locally sourced, seasonal produce.

Kick things off with appetisers like slow-braised pulled beef croquettes, Chorizo & smoked pancetta pigs in blankets, grilled king scallops, Pork & sage Scotch egg, or the pub’s signature fresh oysters.

Next, you'll find elegant small plates designed for sharing, such as grilled lamb kofta, creamy burrata, grilled Tandoori chicken skewers, and miso glazed aubergine.

Onto the mains, where there are dishes like steak shin & Bishops Finger ale pie, grilled 5oz sirloin steak, haddock & chips, smash beef burger, and The Sheps plant burger.

Behind the bar, guests can enjoy an extensive range of Shepherd Neame’s award-winning Kentish ales and lagers, alongside signature cocktails and a carefully curated wine list showcasing the very best vineyards from Kent.
