The Light Bar is set in a stunning 3-floor Victorian power station and comprises 5 separate eating and drinking spaces. Occupying the top floor of this gorgeous building is The Timber Loft restaurant (so-called because of the original beams holding the place together).
Sustainability is clearly the focus with the food here. They make as much as possible in-house and work with small, local farms to provide the freshest ingredients.
The menu features a range of seasonal dishes. You'll find starters such as Burrata with Kent cherries and Marcona almonds, and Beef carpaccio with grated horseradish, parmesan and Sicilian olive oil. On the mains you've got dishes including chicken ballontine, venison loin and sea trout.
If you've got room for dessert there's options such as chocolate fondant, panna cotta or banoffee croissant, as well as a selection of seasonal cheeses.
