The Coconut Island landed in Angel last month, bringing the vibrant flavours of Sri Lanka to Islington.
They're already a cult favourite of Brighton's food scene, but this is their first London restaurant.
The restaurant is designed to evoke the laid-back atmosphere of a tropical island beach bar with its colourful interiors and mood-boosting soundtrack.
Their menu celebrates the best of Sri Lanka's rich food culture, including street food favourites like crispy hoppers and sizzling Kothu roti, alongside aromatic curries, small plates and sambol.
Alongside the food, the cocktail menu is bursting with fresh island ingredients, including a coconut arrack-spiked Colombo Smoked Old Fashioned, and Mango Chilli Margaritas.
