Quercus is the signature restaurant at Sun Street Hotel in Shoreditch. They serve a Southeast Asian-inspired menu that celebrates the best produce from around the British Isles.
This stylish restaurant's ethos is centred around sustainability. They source regional meat, fish and vegetables from ethical and environmentally conscious suppliers, support sustainable farming practices, and utilise low-mileage transportation.
Their cooking fuses this great British produce with Southeast Asian flair with the help of their oak wood-fired Josper Grill, which gives that authentic flavour.
Begin your meal with starters including chicken satay skewers, spiced Gressingham duck roll, white Kent asparagus and hand-dived Cornish scallops.
On the mains, you'll find dishes such as wild rice Nasi Goreng, spiced baby squid, miso roast aubergine, Fowlescombe Farm poussin as well as rare breed steaks and fresh catch of the day fish.
To finish, there are sweet treats including coconut rice pudding, sticky toffee pudding and a pineapple & szechuan pepper crumble.
