This new opening will be their 3rd bakery, following the incredible success of their Soho & Connaught Village locations.
This small family business was only started in 2021, but since then they've won legions of fans with their delicious, authentic Basque cheesecake.
They secured a prestigious 3-star rating at the Great Taste Awards 2023 - an achievement only awarded to extraordinarily tasty food and drink, and one that only 2% of products receive each year.
Using a traditional family recipe and the best quality ingredients, La Maritxu's cheesecakes are baked at a high temperature to get a beautiful burnt caramelised crust and a rich, creamy interior.
They are made fresh in-store daily and can be purchased by the slice or whole.

Just mention "SOFTLAUNCH" when you order in-person at their Greenwich shop on 30th-31st October, and 3rd–7th November 2025.
The 50% discount is valid on both slices and full cheesecakes on 30th-31st October, and then on individual slices only from 3rd–7th November - one slice per person, while stocks last.
The Greenwich shop opening hours are 10am-10pm.
NB - The discount does not apply to orders placed online for pick-up or delivery.
