Freak Scene is a popular pan-Asian restaurant with locations in Balham and Parsons Green.
At the helm is ex-Nobu chef Scott Hallsworth, a globally-recognised, pan-Asian cooking pioneer who's launched restaurants all over the world.
Their Parsons Green restaurant opened last year, and the Balham restaurant opened in January and sees Scott adding sushi to his menu and teaming up once again with his sushi chef from the Kurobuta days, Yauheni Kharytonau.
On Tuesdays, both restaurants are offering a special 7-course "Tight Ass Tuesdays" sharing menu. The deal has been running continuously in Parsons Green for several months, but this will be the first time it's been on offer in Balham!
This deal lets you try 6 sharing plates + a dessert for just £35pp, every Tuesday evening until 11th June for a minimum of two diners.
The menu differs slightly in each location, but here's an idea of what to expect:
- A Thousand Leaves - House Chips with a Jalapeno Dip
- Singapore Chilli Crab and Avocado Wonton Bombs
- Yellowtail Sashimi with Yuzu Soy, Kizami Wasabi and Kaffir Lime Mayo
- Grilled Hispi Cabbage with Dried Miso, Truffle, Butter and Ponzu
- Tom Yum Rice Hot Pot
- Thai Red Curry Duck Donut Buns
- Dessert of your choice - options include Purple Passionfruit Pavlova & Singapore Koppi Brûlée
Plus, it's Happy Hour all night every Tuesday, which means reduced-price wine, beer, cocktails and soft drinks too!
