Aida Shoreditch

Aida is a real gem for coffee lovers, as it serves up some of the best cups in the area. The staff are friendly and happy to help you choose your favourite drink. There’s also a great selection of cakes and pastries available here, should you want to grab something sweet to eat with your coffee.

Alchemy Coffee

Alchemy Coffee is another great place for coffee lovers to visit. It's a small café that serves up delicious drinks along with tasty treats such as cakes, pastries and sandwiches.

The coffee itself is carefully selected to ensure you get the best possible cup of joe! There are also plenty of other drinks available too if that's more your thing – they serve wine too!

Allpress Espresso Bar

Allpress Espresso Bar is a great place for coffee in Shoreditch. It’s a little off the beaten track but well worth seeking out. The coffee is excellent and the staff are friendly and passionate about their craft.

The cafe itself is very spacious and open plan with plenty of seating available inside and out (with heaters in winter). There’s also often live music playing in the evenings or on weekends which makes it even more atmospheric.

Attendant Coffee Roasters

Attendant is a great spot for an afternoon coffee. The space is light and airy, and the staff are friendly. They also have a speciality espresso menu, so you can try something new each time you visit.

Coffee Matters was founded by two brothers who used to run a coffee shop in Australia before moving to London. The brothers wanted to bring the same quality and atmosphere back to London with their new café. They source their beans from all over the world, including Ethiopia and Guatemala.

If you're looking for something different than your standard flat white or latte, Coffee Matters has a range of exotic teas and smoothies that pair nicely with their coffee selection.

Coffee Studio is one of the best coffee shops in Shoreditch. They have a great range of coffee and food, as well as an impressive selection of teas and cakes.

Department of Coffee and Social Affairs

This Shoreditch cafe is one of the most popular in the area, and for good reason. They take their coffee seriously, with a menu that includes a range of blends from roasters around the world.

The food menu is just as extensive, offering brunch dishes like avocado toast and breakfast burritos. The space itself has an industrial feel with exposed brickwork and metal piping.

A great place for breakfast, Franzè & Evans is the perfect place to grab a healthy cereal bowl and a cup of coffee before heading out on the town in Shoreditch. The friendly staff make this one of my favourite places to go in the morning.

Friend of Ours

Friend of Ours is one of the newer additions to Shoreditch's coffee scene. It's a quirky café with a relaxed vibe that serves delicious food and drinks. Expect quirky decor and friendly staff who will help you choose from their selection of craft beers, wines and spirits.

If you're looking for somewhere to hang out with friends or work on a project, this is the place!

FWD:COFFEE

If you want an amazing selection of coffees and teas then FWD:COFFEE is definitely worth checking out. You can also get some delicious brunch options like avocado toast with poached eggs or bacon sandwich with tomato relish and brown sauce on sourdough bread.

There’s also an amazing range of cakes on offer here so you can enjoy them while you sip on your drink!

Kahaila

Kahaila is a great little coffee shop in Shoreditch. It’s got a nice atmosphere, and it’s just big enough for the amount of customers it gets. You can sit inside or outside, and there are plenty of places to charge your phone, which is always a plus. They have a very good selection of food, too!

Kahaila also does amazing breakfasts, so if you’re looking for somewhere to eat before heading out for the day, this is definitely a good choice.

Kybelle is one of those places that really brings out the best in people. It’s relaxed, friendly and welcoming to everyone who walks through its doors and it’s not hard to see why so many people visit on a regular basis. Lady Dinah’s Cat Emporium

If you love cats – or just like hanging out with them while you eat – then this place is going to be right up your street. Founded by two brothers, Long & Short Coffee is a great place to get your fix of coffee. Look Mum No Hands!

Look Mum No Hands! is another place that does great coffee as well as food. It's based on Old Street and serves delicious food that tastes fresh and homemade. I love their veggie sandwiches!

They also have great cakes and cookies if you want something sweet after lunch or dinner – definitely worth checking out!

Nude Espresso

Nude is one of the most popular coffee shops in Shoreditch because it’s just so damn good! It has a really relaxed atmosphere and they serve some of the best espresso based drinks you can find anywhere in London, including flat whites, macchiatos and cortados.

If you like your coffee sweet, then you’re going to love Nude because they use dark chocolate powder instead of milk foam on top of their flat whites which makes them taste amazing! They also have an impressive selection of cakes and pastries which are baked fresh daily by their talented bakers!

Oat Coffee

Oat Coffee serves up great quality coffee from their roastery in East London. They also offer a range of other drinks such as hot chocolate, tea and soft drinks. You can choose from an array of different flavours when it comes to your drink too!

Origin Coffee

Origin Coffee has been around for over 10 years, but it still feels like it's constantly evolving. They're always working hard on new projects, including events such as Origin Fest - an annual music festival celebrating all things coffee! Their staff are incredibly knowledgeable about all things coffee related, so if you want some tips on how to brew at home then they'll help you out!

Ozone Coffee Roasters

Ozone Coffee Roasters is situated on Shoreditch High Street in the heart of the area. It's a beautiful space with large windows and a friendly atmosphere. The coffee is made using ethically sourced beans, roasted on site in small batches. You'll find plenty of tasty treats to choose from, including pastries from local bakeries and sandwiches from local delis.

Paper and Cup

Paper and Cup is another one of my favourite Shoreditch coffee shops. This charming café has an eclectic feel which makes it perfect for relaxing in during the day or having a fun night out with friends at night. The menu changes regularly so there's always something new to try here!

Shoreditch Grind

A modern coffee shop which has a cool, industrial vibe and a great location to boot. They serve some of the best coffee in East London, as well as delicious fresh food. The staff are friendly and helpful, so you can be sure that your cup of joe will be made to perfection.

The Bright Store

The Bright Store is a good place to start your day in Shoreditch. The bright, airy space has a great menu of healthy options, including acai bowls and matcha lattes. If you’re feeling naughty, go for the Nutella latte — it’s worth it.

The Hoxton

This Shoreditch hotspot boasts a rooftop terrace, which is the perfect place to relax on sunny days. The Hoxton's ground floor is home to a handful of food stalls, while the second floor has a more relaxed feel, with sofas and armchairs. There's also plenty of space to work on your laptop if you're after an office away from home.

They also serve breakfast food such as avocado toast, porridge and more which makes it an ideal place to visit at any time of day.

Trade

Trade is a great place to start your day in Shoreditch. It's a small, cozy cafe with modern interior that offers delicious food and drinks for reasonable prices.

The cafe serves breakfast, lunch and brunch and you can also order some snacks to go with your coffee or tea. The menu has a wide variety of dishes like eggs on toast, pancakes and French toast. The best thing about this place is that they have vegan options as well as gluten-free ones.

There are only a few tables inside the cafe which makes it hard to find an empty table, especially during peak hours. But it's worth the wait!

Vintage Rooms

This café is situated in a beautiful Victorian building, just off Brick Lane. The café serves homemade dishes, including cakes and pastries, as well as coffee from their own roastery.

They also have their very own wine bar upstairs, which is perfect for grabbing a drink after work or before heading out on the weekend.
