Yaatra is a stunning modern Indian restaurant in Westminster that's been a fan favourite amongst Soft Launch London subscribers since its opening 3 years ago.

They've been closed for a refurb since the beginning of this year, but are back with a bang, boasting a bold new menu and a fresh new look.

They are now part of the prestigious boutique Indian restaurant group "1947 London", led by Michelin award-winning chef patron Krishnapal Negi and Executive Chef Amit Bagyal, previously of Michelin-starred restaurants Benares and Kanishka.

Their new menu takes you on a culinary voyage through India, blending unique regional flavours, cultures and cooking styles, while embracing modern flair.

Begin your meal with snacks and starters including calamari pakora, chilli-glazed paneer, Togarashi scallop, Himalayan dumplings and hand-folded samosas.

On the mains, you'll find delicious grilled platters and dishes from the tandoor, such as flambeed tiger prawns, tender chicken tikka, Kashmiri lamb chop and corn kebabs.

There's also Delhi-style butter chicken, tenderloin pepper masala, lamb shank biryani, pan-seared sea bream & shrimps, as well as the chef's favourite, Osso Bucco - slow-braised lamb on bone made to his grandmother's secret recipe, infused with Himalayan spices, mountain garlic, and crushed black cardamom.

To finish, you'll find sweet treats including dark chocolate mousse crumble, chilled coconut risotto rice pudding, and a Gulab Jamun (deep-fried dumplings), North India’s favourite sweet.
