Yaatra is a modern Indian restaurant that opened last year at the beautiful, Grade II listed Old Westminster Fire Station.
Led by Executive Chef Amit Bagyal, previously of Michelin-starred restaurants Benares and Kanishka, this stunning venue takes diners on a culinary voyage through India, blending unique cultures and cooking styles.
Begin with starters including steamed Darjeeling chicken dumplings and scallops sweetened with a tamarind glaze. Or try the charred Amritsari Prawn – featuring yoghurt marinated prawn with tandoori grilled carom seeds and a mint chutney.
On the mains you'll find the chef's favourite, Osso Bucco - home-made goat curry made to his Grandma's secret recipe, featuring Himalayan hand-crushed spices and ginger root in a caramelised onion sauce.
There's also a smoky Herdwick lamb chop, served with potatoes, honey-glazed carrots and a bone marrow sauce, or the chef's own Indian Surf and Turf featuring naga chilli glazed lobster tail & Hertfordshire beef rib eye in a creamy Chettinad sauce.
